Christmas Eve

Hello, I'm Yuki. It is Christmas today! How do you do? I came back my hometown. My father bought us a christmas cake, so I am having it watching TV with my family at home.
Winter vacation will begin from tomorrow! I want to relax enough in my house. and I will study hard to pass the exam in new year. Have a nice christmas☆

my job friends

Last Wednesday, I went to downtown to have dinner with my job friends Akane, Azusa and Natsumi after school. At dinner, we enjoyed talking about job, love and so on. It was good dishes so I had a very good time there. 

Survey in Speaking class

Last week, I did a presentation with my group members Haruna and Kyosuke in Speaking class. We researched about school parking areas and interviewed 100 people who were KGU students.
First of all, we asked them if school have more parking areas for students. 97% of them said yes. We found that most of them need more parking areas at school.
In next question "Would you go to school by car if more parking areas are made?", 72% of them said yes and 28% said no. People who said no don't have own cars, and don't need to go to school by car because they live near school.
Third question is "How much can you pay for parking charges?"
20% of people answered they hope free charges. And 78% can pay ￥100 for charges. 2 can pay ￥500.We found that most of people avoid paying much for them. 

Next question is "How do you go to school?" In the question, 68 people answered bicycle or bike. 12 people said that they go to school by transports like bus and train. and 7 people go to school on foot. 13 people answered car. So we asked them where to park their cars. 9 people park in the prefectural hall next to school, and 3 people rend monthly parking areas. one uses a daily parking area like Times. They say that it is expensive to rent parking areas but they are far from home to school, so they go to school by car.

Next question is "Do you think it is bad for the earth to use a car?"

busy days

Hello, I'm Yuki. How are you doing?
I can't wake up early recently, so I'm in trouble.
By the way, I'm busy everyday! Yesterday I worked at Tasaki market, and I have the other part-time job today. Moreover I have a lot of homework, so I must spend time effectively. I want much time to sleep enough. In winter vacation, I will enjoy with my friends, but while I have to study English, make some reports and so on. Before job, and after job

Yesterday, I had a part-time job at the market. I was very exhausted, but it was interesting that I could work with my friend Noriko. As we had a little time before working, we went to Round one which is a big game center to play darts with our friend Ryo. He has only played darts twice, but he was good at playing than us. 

After job, she took us to my favorite darts bar Blanc Cheval. I was very happy, and I really appreciated to her.

Finally I stayed at her house, and I went to bed soon. I had a good time for yesterday!

The wolf went to her grandmother's house before she arrived there, and the wolf ate her grandmother! After that, the wolf wore her clothes instead of her, and the wolf waited for her...

I like this story, and I have read this book in Japanese when I was child. So it is easy to understand the story. Little Red Riding Hood is tery kind to her grandmother. And I think it is a nice girl that she listens what her mother says. I must model her, too. My mother will think her daughter is nice! Her daughter means me!

Today I went to granmessse which is a hall in Mashiki. A darts tournament "PHOENIX CUP" held there. Although I could not join the game because my partner could not come there, I enjoyed watching people who were playing the games with Sanae. I thoudht Mr. Tomei and Mr. Minor would join it, but we could not see them.

11.7 KAB festival

Last Saturday, there was KAB festival at KAB comany in Nihongi. "Honmaru" which is a yakiniku restaurant I work took part in the festival, and sold grilled chicken, yakinikudon which tender meats on rice and grilled hormone. Many people bought them, so they were sold as ending the festival.
When I was free time, I bought "choboyaki" which is like okonomiyaki and a hand-made strawberry ice cream at other shops. They were very good, and then I worked back.
"Yakinikudon" we sold was introduced on TV "satabura", a local program.
Although I was very exhausted, it was nice day to much sell them. After festival, the owner took us to have dinner. I ordered Kamameshi and it was delicious.

DVDs

Recently, I like watching DVDs at home. Last month, I watched a movie "Happy Darts" with Sanae at her house. A woman played by Emiri Henmi, a Japanese actress, had never played darts but she fell in love with a man who works at a darts bar. And then she started playing darts at the bar because she want to see him. The man was played by Kazuki Kato, a also Japanese actor. He is a really nice guy. It was funny but very interesting story. We like to play darts, so we could enjoy watching it.
Also I got a DVD "DIAMOND", which is vide of the NEWS concerts. NEWS is a Japanese idol group, and I like them very much. I often watch it when I have time. I am going to watch it with my friends at the end of this month.

The pesky parrot
Charlie Crossbones, a pirate, is able to read a treasure map, unlock a chest and do lots of other pirate's things. But he didn't have a parrot. He had only a penny, so he bought the cheapest but a pretty parrot.
However, when he tried to steal other pirates' treasure, his parrot shouted "stop thief!". He was chased the pirates because of the parrot.
But the parrot did a good thing at a restaurant.

I like pirates, but I also think it is bad to steal something from others. So the parrot is a good bird. I want a lot of treasures like this story.

Yesterday, I went to a darts studio Ditto which I work. Sanae came to play darts there and I was really pleased that. We played the games and I lost her the game. We are going to take part in the tournament in January, next month. So we are looking forward to joining it and we practice happily. Halloween Party

Yesterday I took part in a halloween party at Brave, which is a darts bar in downtown. Daniel invited me it. We enjoyed talikng and playing darts! I played it with Sanae, Sakosan and Mr. Tomei. A captain Jack Sparrow who Johnny Depp plays is so silly that I can't understand his mind. But I think that his lives are really cool! For example, he can goes out the sea, so he has a bravery. My part-time job

Camp with my work friends

I went camping in Kirishima with my work friends. Kirishima is in Kagoshima and it is famous for hot springs. We also visited Kirishima jingu and I wished good luck. Our owner bought us each charms, so I became very happy. In camp site, we enjoyed having a barbecue at night. It was really good, so I was satisfied. I took a bath in our lodge and finally I went to bed early.
Next morning, we have breakfast, cleaned our room and left for camp site. after that, we went to zoo in Kagoshima city. I like watching a lot of animals. I especially like lion, crocodile and so on. They look scare, but strong and they have cute faces sometimes. So I am interested in hem.

I love my friends!

Today i went to Kumamoto city Hall to poll in the election with my friend Noriko. I became 20 years old in this month, so I have the franchise. A vote was my first experiense.

July 31

I went to karaoke with Yoshiko, Sanae and Saorin.We enjoyed singing and dancing there. I was so exhausted. After that, we went to my home and we ate yakiniku! It was good and I was satisfied. Yoshiko was birthday in July, so we gave her a present and the message cards. She looked happy to see them. We were very happy too. After yakiniku, we watched TV and talked about summer vacation plans. We are going to go to Ebino which is Yoshiko's hometown. We are looking forward to going there!

My new friends

After taking a class, I went to Tsuruya. I gave information that it had a lot of Disney goods to my friend. I wanted them! I looked for them when I arrived there. Today it was a day of studying languages.

I felt happy to read this book. I was impressed that the frog became a handsome young prince when the princess Poppy kissed it. I thought it was miracle and I like such a story. I am glad that she can find a nice guy! I learned that we should keep any promise. I also want to be a princess in somewhere country. If I were a princess, I could eat many delicious foods every day, buy a lot of expensite clothes and so on. I have to find someone who is kind and rich!

Vacation plans

Summer vacation is coming soon! I have some plans in this vacaion. First, I am going to go to Ebino in Miyazaki with my friends. Ebino is hometown of one of my friends. She will take us to guide there. And we are going to stay at her house.

I have lived in Kumamoto since I was born. I like Kumamoto very much. So I will introduce Kumamoto.

My favorite place is Aso. There is a famous mountain named "Asosan" in Aso. Asosan is an active volcano and many people visit there. Also my grandparents live in Aso, so I often go there. Their house is near "kadori- dominion". It is a place which is famous for pankun and james on TV.
I also like Kikuchi in Kumamoto because my friend lives there, so I often go there. There is Kikuchi onsen which is a hot spring and it is famous in Kumamoto. The most famous place in Kikuchi is Kikuchi gorge. Have you been there? You can enjoy swimming there! I think that it is a good place in summer.
There are a lot of sightseeing spots in Kikuchi. For example, Kikuchi shrine, some tumuluses, ryumon dam and so on. I have not been there, so I want to go there. Kikuchi have a lot of attractive things, so please check and go to Kikuchi.
There is a mountain named "Dokkosan" in my hometown. If you climb it, you can see a wonderful view! It is near my house, so I can go there easily. I used to run there in one of classes when I was a junior high school.
Do you know Kinpouzan? It is also a famous mountain. I have climbed it twice when I was a junior high school student. I was very tired, but I felt happy when I ate some rice balls with my friends at the top of the mountain.

Also, they use "tai" and "bai" in the end of the sentences. The dialect in Kumamoto is an interesting language and it feels warm. So I like it.
There are a lot of traditional foods in Kumamoto. I like Takana, especially with fried rice. I love it very much, so my grandmother cooked it for me when I came to her house. I want to eat it everyday.
Basashi is the most famous food in Kumamoto. I think that most of people in Japan know it is a food in Kumamoto. it is a row-horse meat and very delicious. So it is popular among people.
Also Taiyaki is popular among people in Kumamoto now. It is a dessert in the shape of fish. It is delicious so I like it, too. It is good for a snack at breaktime.

Ceremony

I will be 20 years old, so I did "Seijinsiki" yesterday.

Recently

Recently I don't have any happy plans......

There are many mountains in Kumamoto. Asosan is the best famous mountain in Kumamoto.

You can see a beautiful view at night there.

The lords built wooden castle to save the villages and the villagers from the invasions, but they soon realized wooden castles had drawbacks. Then they decided to built them by stone.
they had a deep moat dug around the castle walls,built stronger gatehouse to protect the castles's main entrances, had the drawbridges over their moat and the castles became securely.

I thought the villagers were hard workers and they were smart that they built the stone castles.
The feast looked very delicious. I want to eat the dishes piled high with stuffed peacocks, roast swans, roasted pigs and spiced vension pie.

Saturday

I did not have a part-time job today, so I was at home and watched TV all day long.
I watched "ONE PIECE". Do you know it? It is a Japanese animation and it is a story of the pirates. Its main character, Luffy is so cool! I respect hir power and adventure.
At night, I watched a drama "Mr. Brain". Kimutaku is very dandy. This drama is interesting, but Today's episode was a little scary.
After that I watched a comedic program. I laughed so much on TV.

I got up at eight this morning. Soon I made a box lunch and breakfast. After that I had it.
I prepared and I went to school by bike. It usually take 25 minutes to go to school, but today it took only 20 minutes to go there.
After arriving, I took Writing class. My teacher, Mr. Lavin is always interesting. Today I played Bubles which is a typing game in class. It was difficult for me to play it. But I want to be able to type guickly, so I am going to do my best.
After class I had lunch with six my friends. I didn't have 3rd period class today, so I went to e-campus center and used a computer. I finished 20 Units in Power Words. I'm happy!
After school, I had a part-time job. I work as a staff at yakiniku restaurant. Today, a lot of the customers came there, I was tired. But I am happy when they say "Thank you." Recently I like to work there.
I finished working about a hours ago and I am watching TV at home now. I'm sleepy. I will go to bed soon.

Stories of GHOSTS

This book had three stories of ghosts.
First, it is the story of Shiverham Hall. a lot of ghosts stayed at the hotel namrd Shiverham Hall. Suddenly a round-faced man, Slate came there and he was going to remake his new hotel. The ghosts who were against started haunting to let him go out from there. I hate the real ghosts and I don't believe them, but I like them on TV< books and so on. There was a lost-head shost and a moaned one, so they are very funny. I thought they were cute ghosts.
There were two stories of ghosts else. Both were also interesting and good stories, so please read them when you have free time.

About Kumamoto

I love Kumamoto. I live in Kumamoto since when I was born. There is Kumamoto Castle in Kumamoto. Have you visited there? It has wonderful view and interesting histories. Kumamoto Castle was built by Kiyomasa Koto. 400 years ago. It is one of the famous places in Japan. If you never have visited there, you should call at it. You will feel something.

There were a lot of princes and princesses.
First prince was Colin who was the clumsiest prince in the kingdom. But when a princess was kidnapped, he was rescued her soon. I thought he was so cool!
Next, it was a story of a princess who wouldn't get married. She did not choose one in some princes. But finally she could marry a prince, so I was also glad.
Next princess fell in love with a pig boy. But the king was very angry about it and they had to leave the palace. I was shocked that the king did not allow about marrying, but they lived happily.So I was happy, too.
Last prince was very smelly. I thought It was the most interesting story in this book. He couldn't marry a princess, but it was happyend. I enjoyed reading.

Sanae's birthday

Last Saturday I bought a lot of things with Saori at a Supermarket near my house and then we went to Yoshiko's house. The day was Sanae's birthday! She became 20 years old.
First of all, Saori, Yoshiko and I made a message board for Sanae before she came there. Second, we cooked humburg steaks and a hand-made birthday cake. Her steak was a specially shape of a heart. The cake was full of strawberries. They looked delicious.
After we finished cooking, Sanae came there! We took each crackers and as soon as she opened the door, we cried "Happy bithday!" She said that she was surprised at us. And she was glad hand-made dishes. We were also happy.
We ate them together talking about a lot of things. We gave her a big cusion of a black cat. She likes black cats, so we chose it. She looked happy.
After eating, we enjoyed watching DVDs. But everyone fell asleep during watching. It was very funny.

Pinnochio is a puppet made from a strange piece of wood by Gepetto. pinocchio is bad boy, but he met a cricket and goes to school to be a real boy. Pinocchio met a silvery fair who twinkled like straight in a very polite poodle's house. When he told a lie, his nose grew longer.
Pinocchio goes to the inside the shark to help his father Gepetto.

This story is different from one that I know. In this story, a cricket was killed by Pinocchio. I thought barbarous. He is actually a very kind boy to halp his father Gepetto from a shark.
I was happy that Pimocchio could be a real boy at last.
